Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and efficient Office Administrator to join our team at Danielle Group, a leading footwear importer based in Manchester. Working with some of the biggest retailers in the UK, you will play a key role in supporting our merchandise, design and sales teams, ensuring smooth office operations, and helping prepare for client meetings. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized individual with a strong administrative background to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced business. The role is office-based with flexible working hours, offering a competitive salary and holiday package.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the merchandise and sales teams with various administrative tasks, including preparing documents, maintaining critical paths, and tracking progress on orders and deliveries.
* Post samples and marketing materials to clients, helping to ensure all orders are completed accurately and on time.
* Assist in preparing for client meetings held in the office, including setting up meeting rooms.
* Maintain and update client and supplier databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
* Assist with general office administration tasks, including filing, and responding to emails.
* Contribute to ad-hoc projects as required, supporting the wider team to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in an office administration or similar role, ideally within the retail, import/export, or fashion industry.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to maintain professionalism and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Attributes:
* Experience in the footwear or fashion industry is a plus.
* Understanding of MTO order process, from receiving initial order to delivery into customer.
* Previous experience working with large retailers is a bonus.
