Service Design Sr Analyst Location: Dundee (hybrid) AIB 45,600.00 - 57,000.00 - 68,400.00 GBP Annual 7.5 % bonus (DOE) The incumbent will become a member of the NCR Service Design and Engineering team responsible for ensuring Design for Serviceability and Reliability in ATM product line. The main function of the Service Design Analyst is to design service solutions associated with software and hardware products. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring effective serviceability for a variety of ATM products and modules. The main focus areas are the reduction of failures/incidents and Mean Time to Repair through strong linkage with the product realization process, designing efficient and cost-effective service philosophies. The Service Design Analyst is also accountable to perform proactive lifecycle management on both product and service performance. The associate will work with the Service Product Management/Marketing personnel to define the service requirements for new product solutions and ensure these requirements are met through the Product Realization Process. The associate will be responsible for defining the service philosophy for the products, establishing the cost factors associated with the service and proactively monitoring the performance of the products in the field. The associate will also have responsibility for creating the recommended spare parts list and initial parts provisioning. Key Areas of Responsibility: - New Product Introduction Planning: Define, sponsor and prioritize Services requirements. Review and sign off functional specification; Ensure services content in Schedule D for purchase agreements. - New Product Introduction Realization: Define and release Field Replaceable Units - Spare Parts Procurement Requests/Recommended Spare Parts Lists; Develop services costs and create and implement Service IDs; Define and validate training and publications - Part Information Manuals, Service Manuals, and Site Preparation; Deliver support plans and risk assessments. Review and sign off Development Releases on behalf of Services. - Manage Part Not on File requests. - Product Lifecycle: Develop product performance plans; Analysis of work orders and parts usage data; Effective Last Time Buy planning; Implement new service design and practice. Support and sponsor Field Retrofit Order activity; Deliver effective field communications; Champion services requirements during cost reduction activity - Total Cost of Ownership analysis. - Implement specific incident and MTTR reduction initiatives. - Support Field Technical Support Specialists, Level 3 support organizations, and Services Supply Line Management as Subject Matter Expert.
