Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to lead, inspire and develop a Regional team to deliver an effective shrink and associate safety plan through excellent planning, validation, and strong leadership
Accountable for the Loss Prevention performance and agenda across circa10 districts, leading a team of approximately 90-120 Loss Prevention associates balancing the strategic deployment of Loss Prevention resources.

Leadership

* Seeks and foster partnerships and relationships with key business partners across the business (Retail, HR, Risk etc)
* Support the induction of new leaders into the business if required
* Sets clear expectations around performance and follows the company performance management process
* Role model the company Cultural Factors and Leadership Competencies.
* Responsible for the quality of recruitment within a budget, ensuring all new Associates experience a supportive and effective inductions
* Responsible for attracting, developing and retaining talent in business area with a cross-functional lens. Manages succession and actively coaches team to develop and retain talent
* Accountable for the performance of the Loss Prevention team within the Region
Loss Prevention
* Proactively deliver functional Loss Prevention strategy and consistently delivers results across the Region
* Manage and control Regional Loss Prevention KPIs, costs and budgets
* Contribute to the creation and delivery of Loss Prevention strategy work when required
* Manage physical and technical security needs across the Region in partnership with Tech team
* Monitor and review external crime trends and action accordingly .
* Partner with European Intelligence Team (EIT) to identify and react to incidents of persistent crime
* Collaborate and build effective relationships with business partners to deliver Regional LP strategies
* Validate the implementation and compliance of Loss Prevention BSPs
* Works with team and business partners ensuring a risk appropriate plan to detect both internal and external crime.
* Works with team and business partners to ensure the development and consistent execution of strategies to deter crime in a fluid crime environment.
* Interact with multiple partners to identify and facilitate resolution of TJXE risk issues.
* Networks externally to promote TJXE LP interests.
* Promotes a Culture of Honesty
* Through effective review and analysis, works in partnership to suggest possible solution improvements for physical security needs.
* Executes Central LP policy providing feedback and recommendations for improvement or edits based on local needs.
* Works with business partners to raise awareness, of changing physical security risks, analyses feedback on strategy and uses to influence policy.
* Looks for ways to resolve any physical security exposures resulting from breaches.
* Work with business partners and networks to make recommendations to improve ROI and suggest new and emerging systems to drive business efficiency and productivity.
* Prioritises execution of education programmes and identifies best implementation practices.
* Reviews effectiveness of partnerships and implementation of education programmes, intervening where focus drops or impact is at risk.
* Monitors key areas that effect loss/shrink to ensure that data is relevant and accurate.
* Works with business partners to ensure that operational compliance risk is identified and prioritised. Takes action and deploys resources to resolve issues
* Influences business partners to ensure actions are in place to address all priorities, highlighting trends and offers possible solutions.
* Partners to shape objectives and set KPI's. Ensures performance reviews are carried out assessing quality. Able to manage performance and compassionately deal with disciplinary appeals and grievances.
* Responsible for training and validation within business area. Highlights enhancements as needs change.
* Responsible for effective communications within business area. Partners to seek best practice and influence implementation and policies.
* Ensures knowledge levels are validated within business area. Prioritises areas to improve and partners to improve processes.
* Partnering across the function and the building of a wider network of contacts.
* Influences partners within business area and the division
* Controls LP regional budget

Location
* Ideally will live in Region supporting or alternatively live within a reasonable distance to allow for 4 days per week in the Region
* For RLPM roles that cover a whole country (eg Ireland, Poland, Netherlands and Austria) – must have relevant experience and knowledge of that country including country specific legislative knowledge and ideally be based in this country or have the ability to be based there more often than not, i.e minimum 3 days per week
