Job Description
As Planning Analyst, you'll be instrumental in supporting our Programme Management function by analysing complex datasets and providing strategic insights that drive efficient resource allocation across our technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain comprehensive resource plans for specialist groups including Jigs & Fixtures and Support functions, working closely with Project Managers and Coordinators.
2. Lead the interface between Programme Management, Engineering, and HR to proactively manage resource allocation and mitigate programme risks.
3. Maintain and enhance our Project Online system, ensuring data accuracy and developing insightful PowerBI reporting solutions.
4. Create and present key metrics and capacity models to support strategic resource planning and budget decisions.
5. Drive efficiency improvements through data-driven insights and process optimization across design and production teams.
6. Maintain a global view of resource capacity and demand, identifying and communicating programme risks to stakeholders.
What You'll Bring:
1. Degree in a STEM subject or 5 years' equivalent experience in a STEM environment.
2. Experience working in fast-paced, multi-team environments.
3. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive clear insights from complex datasets.
4. Proficiency with Project Online and Power BI, or similar resource management tools.
5. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
6. Self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently to challenging deadlines.
