Main duties of the job
Ward 2 at Clifton Hospital is looking for bright, innovative, caring, and compassionate Health Care Assistants to join their friendly team of staff who are dedicated to providing excellent patient-centred care. If you are highly motivated and committed to delivering excellent standards of patient care and will embrace our Trust values, then we would love to hear from you. We work closely as a multidisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes for each individual and their families.

This is a fully rotational position, covering all shifts all days of the week.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Willingness & ability to undertake NVQ Level 2
Experience
* Experience as a Healthcare Assistant
Skills
* Understanding of quality and change in the clinical setting
* Ability to communicate in a variety of settings with patients of varying levels of understanding
* Able to present factual information and refer questions to others where appropriate
* Able to deal with sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy
* An understanding of the organization of nursing care
* Basic IT skills in email
* Basic understanding of NHS issues
* Ability to develop effective interpersonal relationships with colleagues in the health care setting
* Carry out clinical interventions as delegated by a RN as agreed by local protocols
* Able to perform a wide range of duties
