The job holder will assist the team in the provision of actuarial services for SCOR business written in the UK (insurance, facultative reinsurance and treaty reinsurance business) for Lloyd's and non-Lloyd's entities.

Job Description
The jobholder will be an ambitious actuary who wants to work as part of an established Reserving team, providing a wide range of actuarial reserving services for Lloyd's and non-Lloyd's entities. A key part of the role will be working on quarterly reserving, assisting on a wide variety of Reserving Projects.
Responsibilities
1. Lead in the analysis of the technical reserves on a quarterly basis for multiple lines of business
2. Lead with reserving projects, such as automation of current processes and modelling of specific lines of business
3. Lead improvements of certain models, visualisation tools and dashboards
4. Annual review of the UK portfolio and contribute to the actuarial report for the various UK legal entities
5. Carry out regular or ad hoc studies for specific segments
6. Work closely with claims team, finance team, underwriters and underwriting management and other members of the actuarial team to develop, review and maintain appropriate tools and methodologies
7. Communicate with external Actuaries, Auditors and external regulators when required
8. Help enhance management information and reporting for Lloyd's, PRA and ACPR
9. Communicate key movement/trends/events to the business on a quarterly basis, with opportunity to present at Management meetings and Reserving Committees
Required experience & competencies
1. Post qualified experience within a Lloyd's/London Market reserving role
2. Working knowledge of GAAP and Solvency II.
3. IFRS17 knowledge would be an advantage
4. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and an understanding of how they impact on the business
5. Excellent analytical skills
6. Communication: Excellent interpersonal verbal and written skills that enable the candidate to communicate effectively with colleagues (especially underwriters), brokers and clients.

1. Qualified actuary with relevant non-life insurance work experience
2. Knowledge of following software:
