Job summary We are looking for a Trust LAS Specialist Registrar at ST3 level to support a busy Trauma and Orthopaedic Department that consists of 20 Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultants. This is a 6 month fixed term post commencing in February 2025. Please note: This post require some flexibility with working patterns and hours of work, but will average 40 hours per week including an admin session Main duties of the job The appointee will be required to assist in the supervision, teaching, training and monitoring of more junior doctors and also the teaching and training of medical students The appointee will have delegated responsibility for all the patients under the care of their Consultant / team. He/she will refer to the Consultant when problems arise which are beyond his/her authority and/or experience The appointee must maintain liaison with colleagues who are on duty immediately before and after It is the responsibility of the appointee to ensure that the Trauma service is managed promptly and effectively.
