Website Product Specialist
* Location: Bristol or Oxford, UK (Hybrid - 3 days a week on-site)
* Fixed term contract - 6 months
* 37.5 hours per week
* £28,000

This is a dynamic, high-impact role focused mainly on optimizing and improving our website’s booking journey, search functionality, speed optimization, and business-as-usual operations.
It’s a big job! You are a self-starter and are (relatively) autonomous, at least enough to work across multiple time zones and jurisdictions. Crucially, you are passionate about and energized by new projects and creating growth, contributing to the success of the business.
Responsibilities
Project Support:
* Booking Journey Optimization: Support improvements to the booking flow (Student Suite [ROW] and Entrata [US]) to enhance conversion rates, usability, and friction points.
* Search Experience Enhancement: Help refine search algorithms, filters, and ranking factors to improve relevance, speed, and user engagement.
* Website Speed & Technical Optimization: Work with developers to clean up code, enforce tighter guidelines, and boost site speed (including homepage performance redesign).
BAU Support and Communication:
* Help manage website updates, global content changes, and bug tracking.
* Act as a liaison between marketing, content, and development teams to ensure smooth implementation of site changes.
* Assist in stakeholder communication for ongoing website improvements.
Training and Documentation Support:
* Assist in writing training guides and process documentation for website-related features.
* Help organize and update internal documentation to improve workflow efficiency.
Website Analysis & Continuous Improvements:
* Monitor and report on key website metrics, such as search engagement, conversion rates, and load times.
* Assist in heatmap analysis, user feedback synthesis, and usability testing.
* Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) before major feature rollouts.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Complete the development of the Search Landing Page improvements project.
* Improve the speed performance of the residence pages from a 75% to 85%.
* Improve documentation for all new features and existing ones for better training experience.

Experience and Knowledge
Essential:
* Experience in website marketing or e-commerce roles.
* Strong understanding of UX, CRO, and website analytics.
* Familiarity with a CMS platform, A/B testing tools, and website optimization processes.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to work independently.
Desirable:
* Previous experience on WebTrendz, CoreMedia (CMCC), and Google Analytics.
* Technical SEO knowledge and experience.
* Previous experience in a Hospitality or PBSA industry.
* Previous experience with Gen Z/Gen Alpha as the end user of a product or service.
* Previous experience directly working with a development team.
