We are currently looking for a Full-time Production Supervisor to join our Team in Cookstown.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the Team leads to ensure all objectives of their departments / areas are met.
* Managing staff rosters daily.
* Send daily production reports.
* Monitoring of Machine / Operator performance against the targets set. Liaise with staff / maintenance if targets not been met and address the issues.
* Manage and motivate production operators in all areas ensuring targets are met / exceeded.
* Recording of the hourly output figures and other machine data on the sheets provided.
* Lead the shiftily Supervisor Rounds
* Monitoring attendance levels and reporting any issues.
* Ensure staff training cards are up to date and carry out relevant training / refresher training as required.
* Liaise with Despatch, Distribution, and In-check departments to determine the product lines required and schedule work / plan accordingly.
* Manage staff and break times to ensure lines are covered and relevant machinery is kept running to meet orders / deadlines.
* Manage Rags and Rewash items and ensure all are recorded on the sheets provided.
* Be proactive on Health and Safety and in identifying and reporting of Safety Observations and Near Misses.
* Handle grievances and investigations with HR Department as requested.
* Ensure the facility standards and housekeeping are kept to Audit standards at all times. All relevant paperwork to be kept up to date.
* Proactive at keeping current with the latest standards (ISO / RABC) through both internal and external training. Current standards are I.S E.N 14065:2016 Biocontamination Control System + I.S E.N 9001:2015 Quality Management System + I.S E.N 14001:2015 Environmental + OHSAS 18001:2007S.R Health & Safety (These standards will change and evolve over time).
* Maintain quality documentation control and correct where required to a best in class standard demanded by high tech and pharmaceutical customers.
