Role Description
This full-time on-site role is for a Renewals / New Business Account Handler who will be responsible for preparing and processing insurance policy renewals as well as managing new business accounts. The job holder will work closely with underwriters, brokers, and clients to ensure policies are renewed and new accounts are set up in a timely and accurate fashion. The job holder will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service during the account renewal process and driving new business growth.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in the insurance industry, preferably with a focus on renewals and/or new business accounts
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple renewals and new business accounts in a timely manner
* Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
* An analytical mindset and the ability to identify trends and opportunities for growth
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of insurance policy management software is a plus
* Insurance exams preferred, but not required
