Robertson recruitment are looking for a part time accounts assistant to join our manufacturing company based in Ilkeston. The main purpose of the role is to provide administrative and accounting support to the finance team.
The candidate must have knowledge of credit control, purchase ledger, and financial systems.
Working Hours
28 hours a week. Monday to Thursday.
08:30 - 16:00. 30 minute unpaid break.
Duties
* Processing payments - Collecting direct debits, processing payments, and invoices. Attach the invoice PDF files to the relevant work orders to keep a log of items invoiced and sent out.
* Credit control - Assisting with credit control and chasing debt. Sending out statements and dealing with queries.
* Purchase ledger - Calculating purchase payments.
* Systems - Knowledge of Sage accounting software or similar.
