Swift Temps Ltd are recruiting for an Maintenance Engineer to work for our client on a permanent basis based at their Dishforth site.
The Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful Maintenance Engineer for this day shift role will have responsibility of providing engineering support to the production team.
Responsibilities:
* Working as a maintenance engineer to carry out all planned, preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance systems
* Investigate, root cause analyses and resolve problems relating to machines and provide support for process and quality issues
* Ensure all related documentation & record keeping for the shift is up to date
* Provide comprehensive breakdown information and actions taken to support the planned maintenance system
* Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines and requirements
Essential Criteria:
* Time served qualification and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a maintenance engineering
About The Role:
* Good working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control systems
* Good working knowledge of product transfer systems including elevators, drag-chain and auger feed systems
* Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding
* Good organisational and time management skills
* An ability to work on own initiative but also to work collaboratively with others
