We are seeking a dynamic and organised individual to join our team as an NHS Pathway Coordinator at our Oxford, The Manor Hospital. This position is critical to ensuring the efficient operation of patient referrals, bookings, and care pathways for NHS patients within the hospital. The successful candidate will work closely with Medical Secretaries and Consultants to manage clinic availability and coordinate NHS patient pathways. As an NHS Pathway Coordinator, you will: Manage and coordinate the NHS referral process, ensuring adherence to established NHS guidelines and timelines. Act as a liaison between the hospital, NHS referring teams, and Consultants to ensure the smooth progression of patients through the NHS pathways. Track and manage all NHS patient appointments, treatment plans, and follow-up care to ensure that all necessary administrative steps are completed in a timely manner. Provide administrative support to NHS patients, ensuring that they are well-informed and that their care is coordinated efficiently. Maintain detailed and accurate records of NHS pathway activities, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements. Work closely with clinical teams to identify and address any potential delays or issues in the pathway process. Key Skills and Qualifications: Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively. Experience of managing the NHS e-RS process. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with Medical Secretaries, Consultants, and other hospital staff. Experience in healthcare administration, bookings management, or a similar role. Proficiency in using online booking systems and hospital administration software. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality patient experience. Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues as they arise. Helping you feel good.
