My client, a leader in Civil Engineering are looking for a Technical Engineer for a permanent position in Inverness. As a Technical Engineer, you will provide centralised technical support to site teams, ensuring the efficient delivery of civil engineering projects. You will contribute to technical solutions and ensure the welfare and safety of all personnel on site. Key Responsibilities ·Analyse tender and construction drawings to identify and address technical queries. ·Prepare material orders for non-standard elements specific to project requirements. ·Assist with creating and managing RFI (Request for Information) schedules. ·Identify and implement innovative construction methodologies. ·Conduct regular site visits across Inverness and Moray. ·Work closely with Site Supervisors, the Contract Manager and Technical Manager. ·Assist HSEQ Manager with compiling H & S documentation. ·Contribute to the preparation of project-specific Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and Construction Phase Plans (CPPs). ·Manage, maintain, and monitor project social media channels and website content, ensuring all project-related information is approved before publication. Candidate Requirements ·Qualifications: An HND in Civil Engineering, or a related field. ·Experience: Proven track record, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in civil engineering projects. Experience in temporary works is desirable. ·Skills: oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships. oDemonstrate an understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 oStrong planning and organisational abilities. oMust have a valid Driving License.
