Assess the care needs of individual patients and then develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care for them. Lead a team of nurses in the provision of care to a named group of patients. Take charge of the ward when required. Provide leadership to the team of nurses in their charge, supervising, monitoring, supporting, and educating them in good professional and clinical practices.
