Job Description
Full time, five days per week, 9am-5.30pm, preferably Yeovil office based although some other GTH office locations may be considered.
Marketing acts as a crucial hub at GTH and the department’s remit continues to expand in line with the partnership’s ambitions. We take pride in representing this strong brand with an envied reputation across the West Country.
The role of the Marketing Assistant is to be in the frontline of the marketing department, primarily managing day-to-day activities and ad hoc requests coming from across the firm. Alongside this, the role includes assisting other members of the team in key strategic projects, events, advert requests, and maintaining contact with external suppliers.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the role includes:
* Responding to requests and queries from across our office network by monitoring the marketing inbox and handling calls
* Managing advertising requests
* Co-ordinating sponsorship activity
* Assisting with website updates and social media tasks
* Overseeing event logistics
* Supporting the development of advertising campaigns and literature
* Assisting in the ordering and distribution of marketing materials, literature, and merchandise
* Supporting the production of email campaigns, our magazine, and internal communications
* Upholding our brand ‘tone of voice’ and brand guidelines
* Building relationships with the firm’s partners and staff and encouraging the sharing of ideas
* Supporting the marketing team in wider projects as required
Requirements:
* A marketing qualification is desirable but not essential
* Experience in working in a marketing function
* Ability to multitask and run multiple projects over varying time periods
* Ability to prioritise workload
* A self-starter with a proactive approach
