Duties and Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate sales forecasts.
* Manage the month end sales close process.
* Lead and prepare the weekly sales order monitoring for management meetings.
* Prepare accurate profit analysis.
* Preparation and posting of monthly direct costing and revenue journals.
* Monitor gross profitability, providing direct feedback for improvement.
* Assist and investigate commercial pricing activity in line with company policy.
* Prepare monthly P&L departmental reports.
* Provide structured costing reports.
* Support the preparation of monthly and annual forecasting and budget reports.
* Assist the Financial Controller in cashflow planning and treasury management.
* Assist where necessary in the statutory audit of the financial statements to ensure timely completion and submission of the financial statements.
* Lead the introduction of new process and controls around customer onboarding and order book management.
Skills Required:
* CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified.
* Excellent written and verbal communications.
* A strong pro-active approach and active to finding a solution.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a team.
* Ability to prioritise their workload.
* Excellent IT skills: MS Office incl. Excel, Pivot tables and other functions.
* Knowledge of ERP systems.
