Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm / Friday 2pm Finish (flex working) Job Description: The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and development of electrical systems, including high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) equipment. You will lead the planning, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. This is a hands-on role involving fault diagnosis, optimization of systems, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to maintain the highest level of operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Plan, develop, and oversee commissioning of HV and LV systems (11,000V to 100V). Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Electricity at Work, and DSEAR regulations. Perform diagnostic and fault-finding activities on electrical systems. To have experience of working upon control systems and PLC’s Lead preventative and unscheduled maintenance activities. Coordinate with contractors/vendors and provide technical support for maintenance. Develop and deliver training programs for personnel. Manage budgets for electrical systems and maintenance. Prepare documentation, technical reports, and operational manuals. Skills & Experience: Experience with LV/HV distribution systems in industrial settings. Proven expertise in HV switching and compliance with BS7671 regulations. Strong knowledge of motor control systems (DOL, S/D, VSD) and circuit protection. Time Served Apprenticeship / HNC in Electrical Engineering. IEE Wiring Regulations (16th Edition – 18th Edition). Why Should You Apply?
