Office Manager to cover maternity leave
Grade 8-£26.427 pro rata
20 hours per week until July 2025 to cover the current post holder’s maternity leave. St Mary’s C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly organised and enthusiastic Office Manager to work within our busy school office while the current post holder is on maternity leave. The successful applicant will have responsibility for day to day office management, routine HR matters and day to day management responsibility for the school office team.
We would like to appoint someone for 20 hours per week which can be used flexibly over 3 to 5 days. We would like an immediate start if possible until the end of term.
The Office Manager provides a comprehensive and effective administrative support service for all the school’s services and as a result, supports teaching staff in meeting the academic, pastoral and other needs of students by improving the quality of teaching and learning. The ideal candidate should have a friendly welcoming manner, as well as accuracy and attention to detail, along with the ability to work on own initiative and to work as part of a team. Previous school experience would be desirable but not essential.
You will be educated to a high standard in Maths and English with an excellent standard of grammar, punctuation and spelling. You will also be experienced in the use of ICT applications relevant to the post i.e. Email, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Publisher.
