Job Description: We have an exceptional opportunity to join the team as a Head of Operations in our Magic Rock Brewery based in Huddersfield. The Head of Operations will be responsible for leading and coordinating activities at the Huddersfield site, providing daily operational leadership to the Huddersfield Supply Chain team. In addition to overseeing the site's operations, this role will serve as the main point of escalation for matters related to the general management of the site and its facilities. Responsibilities include: Coordinate the brew shift team to ensure the brew schedule is completed within specification and to plan, including brewing, filtration, and cellaring Be point of contact for Huddersfield SC operations Drive focus and alignment amongst the Fourpure supply chain team to deliver output of the site performance plan and targets in a day-to-day context. Point of escalation for any operational matters with a view of assessing and triaging issues as they arise. Determine matters that require further senior input and direct as appropriate and decide/solve/direct in-the-moment for matters that don’t require escalation. Champion site standards on safety, quality etc. and provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and counsel on incidents, maintenance, and/or prevention. Represent Fourpure Supply Chain at the weekly Leadership Team meeting, preparing and presenting a one-page performance, risk, and issues overview. Share knowledge and coordinate activities across the total supply chain team by ensuring regular communication with the Magic Rock Head of Operations to enable efficiencies, learnings, and delivery of the total Supply Chain plan. Deliver the improvement plan through the coordination of efforts across the team through day-to-day coaching and guidance, and expectation setting. Primary contact for non-Supply Chain team members for matters relevant to Bermondsey but not necessarily within a supply chain domain. Contribute to and deliver on site engagement initiatives Reasonable for the brewing planning Lead 5Y problem-solving exercises, ensuring the team is accountable for completion where necessary Coordinate and participate in periodic reviews and updates of risk assessments and SOPs React to safety/quality issues on shift and take appropriate steps to mitigate them. Ensure actions are recorded and assigned so they can be tracked/closed. Manufacturing Excellence – adhere to and maintain continuous hygiene standards in conformance to 5S examples set out.
