An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an innovative service as a Team Manager.
The post holder will work with a team of CAMHS clinicians and consultants as part of a Multi Disciplinary Team and be expected to support their team, department, and organisation to achieve the Trust's Values in their day-to-day work. The post-holders will be post-graduate qualified psychological practitioners (e.g., psychologist, family therapist, child and adolescent psychotherapist) or graduate qualified health care professionals (e.g., nurse, social worker, occupational therapist), fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (e.g., HCPC, NMC).
Main Duties of the Job
NELFT has been awarded the Contract to provide CAMHS services across Southend, Essex, and Thurrock in partnership with HCRG for the next seven years. We will be delivering services within a THRIVE model which is a collaborative approach with young people, families, and partner organisations. This is an opportunity to contribute to innovative new ways of working.
The post holder will support their peers within the management team and be an effective team member while working on their own initiative. They will have a commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies.
About Us
NELFT places a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training, and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will have the opportunity to meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
High Cost Area Supplement: This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £1,258 and a maximum payment of £2,122 per annum pro-rata).
