Job Introduction
As a Mobile Carpet Cleaner at Sodexo in the East Cluster, you'll travel with another member of the team to multiple sites and provide cleaning services to create a safe and healthy environment. You'll interact with our clients daily, and you'll be improving the quality of life in everyone you meet!
What you’ll do:
* Work as a team of 2, sharing the driving to multiple sites in the area
* Primarily floor cleaning. Cleaning of carpets and hard floors at different sites between the North East and Midlands.
* Lifting floor cleaning machines in and out of vehicles when necessary
* Ensure completion of all requested/contracted tasks
* You’ll be provided a company vehicle along with a fuel card to visit different sites to carry out a list of scheduled cleaning tasks.
* Be a champion of health and safety practices - spot a near miss? Report it to keep your colleagues safe!
What you bring:
* Full UK (clean) driving license
* Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
* Be a team player and take instruction

* 40 hours per week

* 8 hour shifts
* Typically Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends as required)
* Nights and Working away may be required occasionally
* Working at different sites between the North East and Midlands
* 2 person crew - Fuel card and Van provided (Driving can be shared)
* Full UK (clean) driving license required
