As an Audit Analyst within the Telecom Expense Management (TEM) division of this company, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the analysis of global customers’ mobile telecom invoices bills across the EMEA region. This company is a subsidiary of the leading provider of transportation, utility and telecom invoice payment and expense management services, disbursing $40 billion annually on behalf of its customers.
THE ROLE:
Audit Analysts act as their customers’ advocate, utilising market knowledge and processes to detect and resolve billing anomalies and detect opportunities to help customers reduce cost and avoid unnecessary expenses.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who prides themselves on their forensic and analytical skills, and will enjoy working in an international environment. The role is based in their Basingstoke, U.K. office, but can be partly or mainly work-from-home.
Analysing bills from carriers across Europe, identifying and developing recommendations for cost-saving, refunds and optimisation
Discussing the results of the analysis with the customer
Reviewing carrier contracts and tariffs to ensure compliance with pricing
Interfacing directly with carriers to understand contracts, tariff options, bolt-ons.
Working on sourcing and RFP engagements with clients.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Billing or pricing analysis experience, either in a telecom analyst expense management role or within the billing or pricing team of a telecom carrier
A bachelor’s degree in maths, accounting, economics or other numerical subject preferred
A flair for analysing data to identify overcharges and savings opportunities
Ideally, a working knowledge of mobile telecom carrier billing and tariff structures
Attention to detail required. Must be able to organise and manage several tasks simultaneously
A high proficiency in Excel with a love of spreadsheets!
SALARY & BENEFITS:
£28,000 - £35,000, dependent on experience
20 days holiday + public holidays
