Delivering against the priorities of Hull’s new Community Plan, and making our city a great place to work, live, invest and visit, are high on the agenda, continuing to build on the legacy of the city’s fabulous year as the UK City of Culture.
This portfolio is responsible for developing and delivering the council’s major capital projects, including museums and visitor attractions through the Maritime programme, major residential and commercial development sites that are key to growth in the city’s economy, as well as transport and highways infrastructure and improvements and the city’s school building programme.
These are all key to improving the city for our businesses and residents, growing the economy, and delivering on Hull’s Community Plan.
The successful candidate will be a key part of the council’s senior leadership team and the wider business community, and will have the expertise and experience to drive forward the vital economic development, regeneration and place-making agenda within Hull and the wider region.
