Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week currently, or 40% of our time, at our Chester office.

About this opportunity
We're recruiting a Technical Product Lead to collaborate closely with the Engineering Lead within the Embedded Finance Tech Team. This is a key role offering a unique and challenging opportunity to shape the growing Embedded Finance Tech products, driving the development of cloud systems technology.
The Embedded Finance team is a fast-paced start-up group within Consumer Lending and is tasked with building out propositions that solve customers' financial needs, when and where they are. We have just launched our first product, Black Horse Flex Pay, and we're developing innovative products aiming to offer customers and merchants modern ways for online purchasing, with the ethos of Lloyds Banking Group responsible lending.
What you’ll do
* You’ll lead technical teams through the design, implementation, and deployment of internal and external cloud systems, servicing customers at scale.
* Coordinate dependencies between the Embedded Finance Lab and external stakeholders such as Platforms, Group Functions and 3rd parties, this may include coordinating complex and high-risk implementations.
* You’ll manage dependencies between Embedded Finance lab and other teams and work with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure interlock to enable the lab to deliver at pace.
* You’ll manage integration between multiple parties, internal and external, to ensure safe delivery.
* You’ll coordinate the integration process and events across shared infrastructure leading on the Service Introduction process coordinating parties to get the change over the line.
* Your previous hands-on experience, knowledge of modern cloud systems, quick decision-making, and business insight will help you identify dependencies and manage technical risks, with consideration to time and business impact.
What you’ll need
* Background in modern cloud systems, such as GCP, AWS, Azure.
* Solid foundation in Software Development Lifecycle.
* Deep understanding of business impact and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.
* Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and address technical challenges.
* Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage key relationships.
And any experience of these would be really useful …
* Familiarity with Embedded Finance or financial services applications.
* Experience with Jira Align and Confluence.
* Skills in DevOps practices to streamline operations processes.
