We are pleased to offer a permanent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work across Locala as part of the Professional Development Support Team.
Are you a NMC or HCPC registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional looking for a new, exciting and challenging role working as part of a proactive and forward-thinking team? Do you have a passion for facilitation? Are you able to inspire, motivate and empower others? Would you like to be part of a team that supports our workforce to deliver excellent clinical care as well as supporting colleague career progression?
The successful candidate will report to the Professional Development Support Clinical Lead and work closely with members of the Professional Development Support Team to support the provision and delivery of clinical education and development activities for our clinical workforce (nurses, allied health professionals, visiting students, and learners) in a range of practice settings.
Developing and maintaining high-quality education, learning, and development is one of our key priorities and the Professional Development Support team plays a key role in ensuring that these standards are met. You will champion the Locala clinical career pathways, advocating for clinical colleagues and students to achieve their potential, contributing to the pipeline and maintenance of motivated clinical colleagues who deliver excellent standards of care. You will achieve this by facilitating the delivery of approved programmes to support new and existing clinical colleagues. You will support the development and delivery of clinical education for nursing and allied health professional learners on placement in Locala. You will act as a proactive role model for the supervision of learners as an integral part of daily clinical practice and will monitor and ensure full use of available capacity to support learners across Locala.
The post holder will require strong effective communication and interpersonal skills, experience of leading colleagues, and a drive for innovation and improvement.
