If you are a digital whizz in the paid space then is the role for you The role - As Search Specialist, with a strong focus on SEO, your role will involve hands-on search implementation, developing content briefs, on page optimization and delivering detailed reporting to optimize performance. As a key player in the marketing team, you will also contribute to wider business projects and support marketing administration tasks as needed. Reporting into the Head of Performance, this position offers opportunities for learning, with the potential to take on supporting other digital marketing channels. The Search Specialist will be required to do the following: SEO Implementation: Working closely with the Organic Manager, plan, develop and execute SEO strategies, including on-page and off-page optimization, keyword research, and technical SEO audits to improve organic search performance. PPC performance in Google Adwords and Bing. Create comprehensive search briefs to guide content creation, link-building efforts, and other search-related initiatives. Generate and present regular SEO and search performance reports and content gap analysis using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush). Provide insights and recommendations to optimize results. AB Testing - Take full ownership of regular testing plans to improve search performance for key pages and site areas. Work closely with content creators, web developers, and other marketing team members to ensure SEO best practices are followed. Performance Reporting. Manage marketing-related administrative tasks such as organizing team meetings, coordinating with external vendors, creating audience lists and sending email campaigns. Actively contribute to broader marketing and business initiatives, bringing search expertise to cross-functional projects and supporting integrated campaigns. The successful Search Specialist will be able to demonstrate the following: Proven experience in SEO, including hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g., Moz, Ahrefs, SEMrush). Hands on knowledge of PPC campaigns and paid search optimization. Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and industry best practices. Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles Experience with search reporting and performance analysis using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or equivalent platforms. Familiarity with digital marketing channels (PPC, social media, content marketing) and their relationship with SEO. Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress and Umbraco). Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable way.
