Hire Controller

LINKS Recruitment Group presents a fantastic opportunity for a Hire Desk Controller to join a well-established and growing company.
The Role:
1. Work within the plant/tool hire or related industries.
2. Be computer literate with a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products as well as specialist software for rental purposes.
3. Handle all hire processes including hire contracts, sourcing of equipment, checking availability, and arranging deliveries.
4. Ensure the Regional Operation Manager is quickly informed of any faults or defects.
5. Input all order information onto the IT system.
6. Provide costings to customers.
7. Deal with customer queries.
8. Arrange off-hires and collection of equipment.
9. Process all paperwork in line with company policies and procedures in a timely and organized manner.
10. Liaise with customers and suppliers over the telephone.
11. Advise on equipment needs in a professional, friendly manner.
12. Process orders with suppliers.
13. Undertake general administrative tasks as required to support the Regional Operation Manager.

3. Think quickly on their feet and maximize the company's assets.
4. Work well to deadlines and accurately under pressure while remaining calm and positive.
5. Possess strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative style.
6. Have experience of working in a fast-paced operational structure.
Role: Permanent
Shifts: Days Based Only - Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm - one hour for lunch, with 15 mins in the morning and afternoon. #J-18808-Ljbffr
