Senior EICA Design Engineer role:
• You will ensure that cost effective, technically compliant and buildable solutions are designed, approved and handed over to the construction teams in line with programme expectations.
Senior EICA Design Engineer responsibilities:
• Deliver cost-effective EICA designs that meet client specifications and can be efficiently procured, installed, and commissioned.
• Develop and validate all design deliverables (specifications, schedules, drawings, calculations).
• Ensure designs are completed in accordance with CDM Regulations.
• Delivering all project design outputs on schedule and within budget while coordinating design efforts across all technical disciplines
• Preparing monthly project status reports.
• Build strong relationships to improve design practicality and supply chain performance, focusing on customer needs.
• Provide estimates and feedback for Proposals department.
• Contribute to the development, monitoring, and review of procedures and processes.
• Ensure seamless coordination of designs with all internal and external disciplines to optimise the overall contract delivery.
• Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts.
• Ensure that design takes full regard of all health and safety requirements
• Contribute to staff development and maintain a safe working environment.
• Minimise waste and environmental impact across all departmental activities and designs.
Senior EICA Design Engineer requirements:
• Proven EICA design and project delivery expertise.
• Have experience of working collaboratively with engineering teams to design water and sewage treatment plants.
• Membership of a professional engineering institution, ideally chartered engineer or working towards chartership.
• Preference for candidates with an engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum HND in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 5 years of experience in a design and build environment.
• Expertise in cost-effective design and layout.
• Strong understanding of the engineering principles underlying water treatment processes.
• Strong technical presentation skills.
• Driving license.
• Applicable Master's Degree in Engineering Field (Desirable).
