The Haematology Laboratory is seeking to appoint a motivated individual to the post of Quality Support Officer.
The successful candidate must have an excellent standard of general education along with previous administration and secretarial skills and experience. A good understanding of statistical analysis is essential.
Main duties of the job
For this post, you should ideally have a basic knowledge of working within the NHS and a regulatory/accredited environment and should possess Microsoft Office skills, although training would be given. The successful candidate must be adaptable to change and highly organised.
The role involves supporting the existing Quality Management Team in the Haematology and Blood Transfusion Laboratories to ensure maintenance of both UKAS accreditation (ISO 15189:2022) and MHRA regulation. The successful candidate will assist with audits, incident reporting, and management amongst other duties.
Previous experience in an NHS laboratory would be an advantage for shortlisting.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
