Job Description: We're looking for a passionate and warm HR Adviser to drive forward HR activities in a busy hotel, working with the General Manager, Senior Leadership Team and Head of Departments.
* Drive engagement to support retention and effective recruitment of team members based on key values.
* Complete onboarding and induction of new team members, ensuring a friendly welcome to the team.
* Proactively drive forward training and development, statutory training, talent conversations, and apprenticeships.
* Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management.
* Link in with the People Team to manage absence cases and produce people metrics for Quarterly People Reviews.
* Support the General Manager and HoDs with payroll forecast and actuals, reviewing rotas against sales forecast and actuals.
Requirements:
* Experience in an HR adviser role, ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified, with experience of mentoring and coaching.
* Mental Health First Aid trained with experience of delivering training sessions.
* Passionate about providing an exceptional team member experience from application to the whole employee life cycle.
* Confident in influencing at all levels, with the ability to be calm and compassionate when required.
* Experience working in the hospitality industry is advantageous, but not necessary.
