Looking for a landscape Clerk of works, site manager, designer… to become a Senior Landscape Asset Manager working on the High Speed Two programme. Part of High Speed Two legacy is to create 33 square kilometres of new wildlife habitats along the HS2 route. Very soon a 10-year contract for management of these newly created green spaces will be awarded and it will be the Senior Landscape Asset Manager to ensure the new created natural landscape is managed correctly in line with technical standards, Environmental Minimum standards and compliance of ecological licences. This is a site focused role ensuring the contractors are managing the green assets correctly. The Senior Landscape Asset Manager will act as the subject matter expert for Landscape maintenance requirements and interventions and will support the monitoring and management of works being undertaken by the HS2 landscaping contractors on site. In addition, you will help develop and implementation of landscape asset management technical standards. Work Situation – Hybrid The office location is London, Birmingham or you can base yourself from any of the Site offices along the line of route (your choice) they operate a flexible hybrid working model where you’ll be working 2/3 days a week from the site or office. Comfortable liaising with suppliers and ensuring works align with ecological and landscape goals Hands-on experience in landscape installation or management, particularly across large-scale infrastructure, public realm schemes, parks, national parks, rural estate If you’ve worked as a landscape architect, clerk of works, landscape Site / Project Manager, rural estate management and want to step into a key client-side role, this could be a great fit.
