Shirley Parsons is partnered with a global information and assurance business in their search for a HSEQ Auditor. In this role, you will help their buyer clients mitigate supply-chain risk through the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective on-site audits. You'll work within the supply chains of their core sectors to conduct audits according to industry-specific protocols. This includes covering health and safety, environmental, and quality management systems. Responsibilities:
1. Conducting thorough on-site audits across various sectors, including construction, utilities, and financial services, ensuring compliance with HSEQ, HR, IT, and business continuity standards.
2. Validating supplier compliance with buyer requirements, such as CDM regulations and the Building Safety Act, through detailed assessments and field visits.
3. Preparing comprehensive audit reports that meet industry-specific standards and provide actionable insights for clients.
4. Collaborating with a dedicated audit scheduling team to efficiently plan and execute audits, primarily within the UK, with opportunities for international assignments.
5. Acting as a key representative, providing expert advice and fostering strong relationships with suppliers and clients.
Requirements:
1. A background in HSEQ advisory roles, preferably within construction, utilities, or manufacturing sectors, with a solid understanding of relevant industry regulations.
2. Essential qualifications include a NEBOSH General Certificate and a Lead Auditor certification (or a willingness to obtain with support).
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with professionals at all levels, from front-line staff to senior management.
4. A proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and a passion for driving improvement in supply chain practices.
5. Full UK driving licence and flexibility for regular travel within the UK, with occasional international opportunities.
