Business Development Manager Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our well-established Road Freight division. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our business in the South East of England, covering Essex, Kent, South East London, Hertfordshire, and Sussex.
Main Responsibilities:
* Acquire new business through consistent outdoor presence, structured appointments, and follow-up calls.
* Develop and maintain existing client relationships, ensuring a strong sales portfolio and active pipeline.
* Ensure the achievement of company strategic commercial objectives.
* Identify, follow up, and control potential targets, extending information received from each business contact for possible upgrade or added value.
Key Competencies and Skills:
* A results-oriented individual who consistently challenges themselves to exceed expectations.
* Effective communication skills at all levels of a business.
* Good negotiation and persuasive skills.
* Excellent time management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years of employment within the freight industry.
* A track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
