Position Good to Knows
* Required to oversee an internal demolition of 4 floors of offices.
* Works will consist of a back to basic building structure.
* You will be working closely with the M&E contractor and internal demo team.
* Project requires a strong Site Manager with a good eye for detail.
* Looking for a Site Manager who can help support the project.
* Ability to manage all trades and stick to project plan and delivery.
* Will be number one on site reporting to the Project Manager.
* Needs to be strong with:
o Health and Safety.
o RAMS.
o Paperwork.
* Also needs to be:
o Good with running and keeping to project programming.
o Managing all sub-contractors on site.
o Good client skills.
o Good public relations as you will need to work closely with neighbours who have direct access to the area of the project.
Headline of the Site Manager Role
* Opportunity to slot into the project team working closely with the Project Manager.
* Main scope of the project would be to oversee and lead the subcontractors.
* Candidate must be a strong organiser and ideally be aware and have practical knowledge of the build process.
* The ideal candidate should have a good head for contracts and understand expectations and issues about non-delivery.
* Level of candidate would be a Site Manager and certainly someone to run the project.
* Must be able to drive the project plan and meet handover targets.
* Must be strong on health and safety.
* Keen to speak with candidates who can bring experience of internal office demo.
Your Key Duties as Site Manager
* Ensuring quality working towards quality standards.
* Co-ordinate labour and trades.
* Monitor and support the site build programme and control material levels.
* Work with and assist a supportive team, but on a day-to-day basis, you will be the sole main person on the project.
Key Experiences You Should Have as Site Manager
* Solid work history of delivering construction projects.
* Be a great communicator with the ability to support your site team.
* Developing knowledge of commercial projects.
* Ideally be from a trade background or have developed skills from activity being on live projects.
Key Must Haves You Should Have as the Successful Senior Site Manager
* SMSTS.
* First Aid.
* Fire Marshall.
