Our client, a manufacturer of electric vehicles whose mission is to bring real engagement and emotion to driving electric, is currently hiring an Operations Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring that the company’s production, supply chain, and business processes run smoothly and efficiently.
The Operations Director will:
1. Oversee all operational aspects of the company, including production, procurement, facilities, logistics, and process improvement initiatives.
2. Develop and implement a transformation plan to establish a production capability, covering supply chain, quality, vehicle assembly, and inventory management facilities, processes, and people.
3. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver key performance objectives, including product quality, on-time delivery, and cost-efficiency.
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business, focusing on scalability, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
5. Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the business meets operational goals and customer expectations.
The Operations Director will have:
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (MBA preferred).
2. Proven experience as a COO, Operations Director, or senior operations leader in the automotive, EV, or advanced technology sectors.
3. Experience with automotive production and compliance requirements, including knowledge of regulatory and safety standards.
4. Strong background in manufacturing, supply chain management, and operational efficiency, with demonstrated success in scaling businesses.
5. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment.
