As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Build Engineer to join the DevOps team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.
Responsibilities
1. Design, develop and maintain robust new builds for each platform
2. Monitor and improve on automated builds systems and continuous integration
3. Work with IT to monitor and scale our build servers
4. Create and maintain documentation of the build/release process
5. Assist release manager during a patch release
6. Provide support for other team members
Requirements
1. Minimum 2 years industry experience
2. Good knowledge of Jenkins
3. Good knowledge of scripting languages like Ruby, Groovy, or Python
4. Good knowledge of shell automation using shell/bash/cmd on Linux and/or Windows
5. Familiarity with source control management systems (i.e. Perforce, Git, SVN, etc.)
6. Good communication skills in spoken and written English
7. You are a team player and willing to take responsibility
8. You are willing to experiment and iterate over a specific feature
9. Excellent software design and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
1. Experience with Ansible
2. Experience with automating C#/C++ builds (msbuild, cmake, etc.)
3. Experience with full-stack development
4. Shipped a project as a Build Engineer
