Are you an Exotic Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a practice with an established exotics client base? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate Exotics Veterinary Surgeon to join a talented team in County Durham on a full-time basis.
Located in an attractive market town at the centre of County Durham, this role offers easy access to excellent transport links, picturesque countryside, and a wide variety of local amenities. Enjoy great shops filled with local produce and independent restaurants serving delicious food.
Our client is a RCVS accredited small animal practice and proud to be an ISFM Gold Standard Cat Friendly and Exotic practice. They are seeking a vet who is keen to develop their skills in exotics or is already experienced in exotic medicine. The practice provides a dedicated stress-free environment for treating exotic species and cats.
The practice is modern, offering the latest technology, including an in-house laboratory, X-ray, dentistry, and much more. The enthusiastic and dedicated team includes five Veterinary Surgeons, one of whom is studying towards their Aquatic Medicine Certificate (CertAqV), and a wonderfully supportive nursing team consisting of three RVNs, one of whom has completed an ISFM Diploma in Feline Nursing.
The successful candidate needs to be RCVS registered with experience in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients. You should be able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills and be experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.

The Rota:
• Full time role - 4 day week
• 1:6 full weekends
• No OOH
