What is the role?
We are currently looking for Customer Sales Advisors to join us at our Huddersfield store from the upcoming Summer Holidays on various contracts, including part-time and casual.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
1. Providing customers with a high level of customer service
2. Sales of service packages, parts, and accessories
3. Having a tip-top product knowledge
4. Ensuring our customers are always happy
5. Stocking in deliveries
6. Restocking products and ensuring the shop is tidy and in order
7. Product demonstrations where necessary
8. Booking in services and repairs for the workshop
9. Building new bikes for the sales floor
10. Some bike maintenance and repairs as required
11. Helping to keep the shop and work areas spick and span
12. Responsible for daily opening and closing of retail premises as required
13. Additional administration and communications including warranties, emails, social media, and orders
14. Processing online orders received from the CWY online store
15. Opportunity to take part in or lead Cycle Works Yorkshire group rides
16. Promoting Cycle Works Yorkshire at cycle events and shows
17. Working to support the reduction of our carbon footprint
About you
1. We are looking for someone with previous experience working within the cycle industry who has good communication and customer service skills and can really contribute to our thriving business
2. Passionate about cycling
3. Good knowledge of cycle products and the industry
4. You must have excellent communication skills and understand the importance of great customer service
5. You must work well under pressure and enjoy working as part of a small team
6. Comfortable using online technology in the job
7. Must be available to work weekends and part of a rota/shift work schedule

Skills/Experience Required
Qualifications and experience:
1. Previous experience in the cycle industry (desirable)
2. Previous customer service experience (desirable, ideally in the cycle industry)
