AACA & ACCA carry out a range of Adult and Child Social Care Assessments for Local Authorities, Solicitors and the Courts.
We are a growing and evolving organisation and due to an increase in enquiries, we are looking to grow our Panel of Independent Psychologists who are happy to work within Legal Aid Rates for the following assessments:
* Cognitive Assessments for Adults or Children
* Full Psychological Assessments for Adults or Children
* Global Family Assessments
* Forensic Assessments

Pay Rates:
* £70 per hour
* £40 per hour travel time
* £0.45 pence per mile
The Role
* To carry out robust, clear either Cognitive, Full Psychological, Global Family or Forensic Assessments of either Adults or Children depending upon your specialist area.
* Assess needs, abilities or behaviour using a variety of methods including Psychometric Tests, Interviews, or Observations.
* Identify appropriate Interventions that could improve the individuals' circumstances or ability to parent children.
* Identify Specific Risks as instructed and identify potential outcomes of Risk Behaviour to others.
The Responsibilities
* To act in a Person Centred way at all times.
* To provide evidence-based reports with clear formulations for outcomes of assessments.
* Complete high quality, legible reports which set out the identified needs and how these can and should be met, which stand up to scrutiny.
* Raise any concerns promptly and appropriately.
* Undertake all work accepted in the timescales you agree to.
* Work in a professional manner at all times.
* Work with individuals as flexibly as possible, ensuring the individual can be as involved as possible and make adjustments to approach wherever necessary.
* Submit reports and invoices using agreed timescales.
* Support us to work at all times within Safer Recruitment Principles and provide any documentary evidence required.
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Clinical or Forensic Psychologist with a minimum of 2 years’ Post Qualifying Experience.
* Be registered with HCPC.
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Have an excellent knowledge of Safeguarding.
* Have a full enhanced DBS and be registered with the update service.
* Hold Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
* Be registered with the Information and Commissioners Office (ICO).
* Highly computer literate.
* Work in a courteous, professional, and positive manner.
* Have excellent communication grammar and reporting skills.
* Provide a laptop or Computer for the purposes of completing your Independent work.

Pay: £70.00 per hour
Schedule:
* Day shift
* Night shift
* Weekend availability
