The Role: Deliver engaging and interactive Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your specialism and experience. Foster a love of music in students, encouraging them to explore a variety of musical genres, instruments, and performance styles. Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves musically and develop their musical talents. Contribute to the development and implementation of an innovative Music curriculum that caters to a range of musical interests and abilities. Lead and direct school ensembles, choirs, and bands, providing opportunities for students to perform and showcase their musical skills. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their musical development. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Music. A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in Music. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners. A passion for Music and a commitment to fostering musical talent in young people.
