Job Description
We are looking for a candidate that will have experience in ecommerce development, social, digital marketing, advertising, web content management, Google analytics and UX knowledge. This is a varied role in a small department where there is an opportunity to make a positive impact and add real value.
Key responsibilities
Content and Social Media
* Analyse marketing performance data (social platforms, Google Analytics, Tag Manager) to drive strategies and achieve trackable KPIs
* Enhance social media presence to maximise engagement and grow followers organically
* Collaborate on digital book marketing campaigns across websites, social media, and digital events
* Maintain a consistent brand voice across digital channels, including training team members as needed
Website and SEO
* Ensure web pages align with brand guidelines, follow UX best practices, and are SEO-optimised and mobile-friendly
* Monitor and enhance web user experiences, including ecommerce checkout and product recommendations
* Oversee website content management, resolving errors, creating new pages, and coordinating updates with the web agency
* Facilitate GA4 development, training, and SEO-driven ad campaigns supporting email marketing efforts
* Ensure GDPR compliance across all site functions
* Support marketing automation and lead generation initiatives. Boost brand visibility and profitability by running targeted ads across key social media channels to budget that support SEO and email marketing initiatives
Skills/experience
* At least three years’ of relevant marketing experience, with a thorough understanding of digital channels
* Experience working with web development and cross-functional teams as well as third-party suppliers
* An aptitude for learning new systems and software tools
* Exceptional social and content writing skills and attention to detail
* Excellent time management and budget management experience
A salary of £34 - £35k is offered, plus bonus, and benefits package, including hybrid working.
