Commercial Services : Electrical installations for commercial buildings, including specialized office fit-outs (CAT-A and CAT-B) and Shell and Core. Services include all aspects of electrical installation works, testing, and commissioning. Residential Services : High-quality electrical installations for high-end residential projects, such as hotels, apartment blocks, and care homes. Services include shell and core, fit-out, and external lighting and power services with a focus on quality and safety. Public Sector and Retail : Electrical installation works for schools, hospitals, laboratories, prisons, and retail environments. Projects have included low voltage infrastructure, Shell and Core, lighting and power upgrades, temporary lighting and power, and fit-out. Our client, a leading name in the electrical services sector, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects ranging from £500,000 to £3 million. This role involves working from the Purfleet office, with regular site visits to projects across London. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical installations, materials, and labor. Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive pricing. Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and constraints. Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive and accurate pricing. Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal teams. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements. Provide clear and concise reports and documentation to support estimates and tender submissions. Skills and Experience Required Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction or engineering sectors. Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and labor requirements. Familiarity with estimating software and tools. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. A valid driving license for site visits.
