Role: Principal Business Analyst
Location: London / Milton Keynes (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office)
Reporting to: Head of Programmes & Analysis
The Role
Rightmove is seeking an experienced and versatile individual for a multifaceted role. You will leverage your experience as a pragmatic business architect or consultant to lead target operating model design, while also driving and elevating our business analysis practice. If you excel at balancing strategic design with detailed, technology-focused execution, and are passionate about developing others, this role could be ideal for you.
What you'll be doing
Business Architecture & Business Analysis
* Lead the creation of target operating models on major transformation initiatives alongside our Enterprise Architect
* Create multi-use business architecture deliverables to communicate the current or future Rightmove operating model
* Lead business analysis work on major technology-focused discovery activities or initiatives if required
Leading the Business Analysis Practice
* Provide line management, support, and coaching for 6 business analysts
* Support the development of their careers
* Drive efforts to improve the standard of business analysis in Rightmove
* Advocate for business analysis within Rightmove

What you'll bring to the role
* Experience in creating target operating models
* Experience creating business architecture deliverables such as capability models, value stream models, and data models
* Experience leading and developing a team of business analysts
* Knowledge of technology to understand solution architectures and collaborate with architects and engineers
* Multiple years of hands-on business analysis experience across full project lifecycles
* Proficiency in techniques like requirements capture, process modeling, data modeling, and system specification
* Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders
Ideally
* Experience in a B2B subscription business
* Experience working with Customer Service and/or B2B Sales divisions
