Internal Sales Executive - Gloucestershire
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly driven, motivated, dynamic and experienced Internal Sales Executive to join our clients internal sales team, based from their head office in the heart of the Forest of Dean, reaching out to potential clients across the UK. Your day to day will involve reaching out to decision makers within potential new customer accounts, presenting to them the fantastic range of market leading products from within the gardening category, including tools, wildlife habitats and decorative products that the company supply.
Operating from the office, you will need to have an ability to build instant rapport with potential customers by demonstrating excellent relationship building skills, effective questioning, strong listening skills and the ability to identify opportunities throughout. With a vast prospect list you will need to be highly organised, self motivated and efficient, to ensure you are reaching out to as many potential new customers as possible, targeting independent retailers in the Homeware Stores, DIY, Garden Centre's, Discounter Stores, and Farm Shops sector. With such a varied account base you will be dealing with a variety of decision makers including Owners, Buyers and Managers so you will need to be highly adaptable and flexible in your approach and communication style.
You will have a vast number of products in the portfolio, which offers everything you could require to take care of your lawn, as well as general gardening activities and decorative items etc..so have a broad range to present to potential customers, and there are huge amounts of opportunity to take advantage of. The end goal of your call will be to book face to face meetings for the external sales team and this is what you will be targeted on, along with several other KPI's which will lead to success.
While this role has a National remit, you will be based from the head office 5 days a week.
The Person
· A stable and proven track record in telesales/sales, minimum 2 years experience.
· Completely open on what you have sold before but ideally someone with b2b experience.
· Ambitious, motivated, driven and highly organised.
