To work flexibly within the Imaging Department providing administrative support to patients, clinicians and other Trust Staff.
To ensure patients interactions are delivered to the highest standard, appointments and supporting correspondence sent to patients in a timely way and patients are dealt with effectively and efficiently when attending the Trust.
1. Greeting and attending patients on department reception desk. (A patient focused approach should be adopted at all times when working in reception areas, providing a friendly and welcoming environment).
2. Booking imaging appointments
3. Responding to queries via email and telephone (whilst upholding the highest standard of customer care at all times).
4. Ensure queries from Patients, GP’s and outside agencies are responded to in a timely fashion, upholding the highest standard of customer care at all times. Queries that cannot be resolved should be discussed with team leaders immediately for advice and support.
5. Clinics should be ‘cashed up’ at the end of each session.
6. Imaging request forms scanned on a daily basis.
7. Instructions and preparation for imaging appointments should be sent in a timely manner, as per departmental protocols.
8. Participate in Trust appraisal system.
9. Attend mandatory training annually.
