Property Claims Handler (Home-Based) - Norwich

This ‘Third Party Administrator – with a difference’ is the brainchild of several insurance veterans with rich pedigrees in utilising state-of-the-art technology to tackle longstanding problems in the claims industry. Cash rich, it has been backed by a number of specialist VC firms, and has long-term agreements in place with some of the best-known MGAs on the planet.
This is a 100% home-based role, where you will be provided with all the tools needed to make a real success of this role (including a top of the range Apple MacBook with additional screens etc), and benefiting from an extremely friendly and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently deal with a caseload of Property claims on behalf of a number of MGAs and insurers.
2. Negotiate claims through to final settlement using extensive experience and knowledge.
3. Access the most state-of-the-art technology and full support from a dedicated Claims Support Team.
Qualifications:
1. Experience within Household or Commercial Property insurance.
2. Background working for an insurance company, or handling claims via delegated authority at a broker or loss-adjusting firm.
As this role is 100% home-based, you must be highly motivated and able to work under your own steam, with minimal supervision (but lots of support!), and you’ll be well-organised with excellent task-management skills. You should be client service-focused, with a can-do attitude, and pride yourself on your problem-solving skills and innovative approach to delivering excellent client outcomes. You must have excellent communication and rapport-building skills, with the ability to have difficult conversations while demonstrating empathy.
You will receive a generous basic salary ranging from £35K - £40K per annum (Negotiable, depending on experience), together with a range of company benefits, including support towards professional qualifications.
