We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing energy consultancy. This role will see you managing a portfolio of I&C customers, whilst also prospecting and winning new business. You will be required to grow your portfolio, as well as up-sell and cross-sell other products, services and solutions where possible such as solar PV installs. The ideal candidate will have 3 years’ experience within the industry, knowledge of gas and electricity procurement. and used to negotiating and building relationships Key responsibilities: Prospect, attract and convert the sale of new energy procurement business. Retention & renewals for your own B2B customer portfolio. Convert incoming lead opportunities. Cross sell Solar opportunities into your energy portfolio where appropriate. Deliver key KPI’s of sales and quality targets. Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients, delivering engaging presentations that showcase our solutions and value. Manage accurate prospect information through CRM system. Ensure prices are delivered within time scale with a high level of accuracy. Organisation of and communication with the team about the day-to-day pipeline. Skills and experience required: Energy Procurement experience ideally to I&C flex customers Able to prioritise and manage multiple assignments at once, maintaining high level of service. Proactively anticipate stumbling blocks and develop contingency plans. Take responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work. Emphasis on the customer needs and goes beyond basic service expectations Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
