You will support in the discovery of unique skin scientific insights and their translation into highly effective technology and product opportunities for No7 Beauty Company’s skin care brands. You will leverage world class expertise by working with external partners that may include universities, dermatologists and clinical research organisations. About the role No7 Beauty Company’s science team plays an important role in unlocking unique scientific insights about the skin and translating these into breakthrough technology, highly differentiated claims and award winning education. The team works with other technical functions including product development, claims integrity as well as wider No7BC business functions such as Marketing, PR and Legal. You will report into the Head of Science Research. You will not be expected to line manage. Key responsibilities will include: • Set up and management of external research partners that may include clinical research organisations • Design and coordination of partner-enabled skin research studies • Analysis and presentation of complex clinical study data • The translation of scientific insights into educational content for different audiences, working closely with the Scientific Communication Officer • Support for the No7BC PhD programme, working with industry and academic supervisors This is a unique opportunity for an appropriately qualified individual to be part of a dynamic science research team that operates at the leading edge of skin discovery and its translation, delivering science that builds the scientific credibility of our brands and wows our customers. What you’ll need to have • You will have a degree in a scientific discipline, with a strong foundation in biological, medical, pharmaceutical or cosmetics science • You will have first class communication skills and excel at working with external partners • You will have at least 3 years experience of applying your scientific knowledge in a business/industry setting and leading projects • You will be competent in the analysis and presentation of clinical study data • You will have an understanding of statistics and be able to apply basic statistical tests • You will be proficient at the design of clinical/ research studies.
