VANRATH are recruiting a Supervisor to work for a large, leading Construction Company that specialise in Social Housing maintenance projects, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Remuneration:
£38,000 + van / fuel card / excellent benefits package
Overview:
To effectively plan, manage and control new and existing contracts and partnerships. As a senior member of the operational team, you will be an influential figure and as such be required to demonstrate a presence and 'go to' figure head for daily queries and general support, to immediate and wider team.
Building and maintaining client relationships will be key, working alongside Commercial and Central Teams. To effectively, manage all activities from planning, management and completion of works to the standards set out by the contract, ensuring the best interests of the company are maintained throughout with close adherence to the following:

Key Responsibilities:
11. Provide a high-quality service to tenants, specifically within domestic properties that are either occupied or void
12. Attend all relevant training courses, including all health and safety
13. Work in accordance with any training and instructions given and bring to the attention of the employer any shortcomings and defects in the management systems and protective measures
14. Assist with the adherence to the Company quality standards including:
15. Fire compliance in line with current standards
16. Compliance with specification and SOR codes
17. Adherence to the sequence of events for each job on the PDA
18. Ensure van stock is processed and managed accordingly
19. Ensure work is completed to the highest standard in line with timescales
20. KPI compliance
21. Review recalled and rejected work with the aim of reducing issues
22. Increase productivity onsite
23. Work closely with the Procurement Team for ordering and procurement of materials and stock
24. Planning of larger works to ensure overall efficiency of delivery
25. Liaison with the client, consultants and contract administrators to ensure streamline completion of works
26. Effectively collaborate with administrators to ensure best possible job life cycle and completion in line with KPI's
27. Oversee/assist in the training of apprentices as required
28. Manage staff sickness and holiday entitlement and undertake investigations and disciplinaries where necessary
29. Occasional attendance at KPI and Client meetings
30. Any other reasonable management request
SHEQ
31. Ensure teams understand and implement the requirements of the Health and Safety Policy, Site Rules, SHEQ procedures, etc.
32. Ensure the File System is adhered to and all relevant documents completed in line with this
33. Ensure sites/jobs follow safe working practices and legal requirements are met
34. Ensure all accidents and incidents are reported and corrective actions are implemented and closed out
35. Assist with any accident/incident investigations following the SHEQ procedures
36. Undertake Weekly SHEQ Inspections and record MSV visits
